Ball joint

is one of the main parts of the running gear of the car. The part has high wear resistance and extended service life, due to the use of high-tech materials in the manufacture of components. High-precision dimensions of the "finger" and body parts are achieved when they are machined on the lathe and CNC milling machines of HAAS. Smoothness of the "finger" stroke in the case is provided by using highly effective grease. Ball joint (as well as the tip) serves to ensure the rotation of the wheel of the car, but on many Russian cars the ball joint also performs the function of maintaining the entire suspension of the car. Therefore, the loads falling on the share of the ball bearing are very high: the finger pulling force from the ball bearing housing is more than 5 tons, and the extrusion force is 3 tons. In this regard, the ball bearings for Russian cars are subject to the highest requirements.
The ball joint operates under extremely unfavorable conditions: in the zone of environmental impact and under constantly changing loads. From this it follows that it must have a double, or even triple, margin of safety. For this, the designers of our company JV Technologies of Real Time have made the TRT ball bearings as durable as possible:
  • The all-solid body of the TRT ball joint allows you to provide a finger pull force that is several times higher than the normative.
  • The ball finger is made by the method of cold volumetric stamping from special steel grade 38ХГНМ, developed for the automotive industry, which gives absolute confidence in the strength of the product.
  • Special heat treatment of the finger ensures its high fatigue strength. The sphere of the ball pin is subjected to mechanical treatment by plastic deformation, after which its surface corresponds to the ninth class of purity.
  • The protective casing is made of frost-resistant EPDM rubber with increased elasticity.
  • The insert is made of wear-resistant antifriction material, which guarantees reliable operation of the product.
  • Anodization of the ball joint housing serves as a good protection against corrosion of the product.
  • The output inspection by ultrasonic diagnostics completely excludes the presence of manufacturing defects and cracks in the body of the ball joint and the finger.
